Coaching HER is designed to help more girls get and stay in sports through critical drop-out ages of 11-17. Keeping girls in sports will help them stay active, healthy, and thrive across the lifespan.
Featured research
A new national report authored by Tucker Center for Research on Girls & Women in Sport Director Dr. Nicole M. LaVoi in collaboration with USTA Coaching. The report concludes that women’s attrition from coaching is driven less by personal choice and more by systemic workplace structures. It also outlines an evidence-informed framework for change, including leadership accountability, compensation transparency, inclusive access to professional networks, sustainable work expectations and modern facility standards.
The Tucker Center for Research on Girls & Women in Sport has released a new Women in College Coaching Report Card. This report aims to improve the occupational landscape for women sport coaches.
To supplement the recent report card, the Tucker Center also released a report titled "Trends & Opportunities: Driving Change for Women Sport Coaches."
